Salary Range: $155,000-$275,000, based on experience and equity desires
The Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Director to build and lead nuclear-grade procurement and supplier strategy for complex engineering programs. This leader will establish sourcing strategy, supplier governance, and execution cadence to deliver critical hardware and services on time and with full traceability.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for nuclear-grade components and services
Establish procurement processes, governance cadence, and performance metrics
Negotiate contracts and terms; manage supplier risk and schedule visibility
Coordinate with quality and engineering to ensure technical and QA requirements are flowed down
Build and develop supplier networks, including qualification of new suppliers
Support long-lead procurement planning and cost strategy
Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, project controls, and operations
Ensure proper Quality Assurance high level strategies and nitty gritty details are taken care of.
Discern when to manufacture in-house, CGD non-nuclear supplier equipment, or purchase through a 10CFR50 Appendix B supplier for a multitude of deliverables on aggressive schedules without jeopardizing quality/reliability.
Qualifications
8+ years in supply chain leadership; strongly prefer at least some nuclear experience but also some experience in similarly regulated supply chains strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience managing complex suppliers and long-lead hardware
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Familiarity with NQA-1, ASME documentation packages, and nuclear traceability
