Salary Range: $55,000-$160,000, based on experience
The Role
We are seeking a Test Engineer with deep LabVIEW expertise to develop and execute test systems for complex hardware in regulated and safety-conscious environments. You will own instrumentation, data acquisition, automation, and test execution, with a strong emphasis on repeatability, traceability, and high-quality data.
What You’ll Do
Develop automated test software in LabVIEW for hardware and subsystem validation
Design and integrate data acquisition systems (DAQ), sensors, and control interfaces
Create test procedures, test plans, and acceptance criteria
Execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and analyze results
Maintain calibration and configuration control for test equipment
Produce clear documentation and test reports suitable for design reviews and audits
Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field
3+ years in test engineering, controls, or instrumentation roles. Prior nuclear experience preferred and decades of experience would tend to place higher onto listed pay range.
Strong LabVIEW proficiency (architecture, drivers, debugging)
Preferred
Experience with NI hardware, PXI systems, LabVIEW Real-Time, or FPGA
Familiarity with QA-controlled environments and formal test documentation
Certified LabView Architect or similar qualification, preferably from NI.
