Salary Range: $100,000-$280,000 Competitive compensation, based on experience

The Role

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance / V&V / iV&V professional to support software used in nuclear and other safety-critical applications. This role ensures that software development and validation activities are planned, executed, and documented in a way that stands up to audits and high-consequence decision making.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain software QA plans, V&V plans, and supporting procedures

Define requirements traceability and verification strategies

Review software lifecycle artifacts for completeness and compliance

Support test planning, test execution oversight, and defect tracking

Support configuration management, release management, and documentation control

Participate in audits and assessments; drive corrective actions

Help establish proper SIL categorization

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years in software QA, V&V, iV&V, or regulated software development

Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail

Preferred

Familiarity with NQA-1 software requirements, IEC 60880, IEEE software standards (IEEE 1012 as endorsed in RG 1.168), and similar

Experience with engineering analysis codes, simulation tools, or digital I&C software
